My research can be divided into three areas:
(1) chemical preparation and self-assembly of metal nanoparticles
(2) magnetic nanoparticle growth and manipulation
(3) biopolymers and conducting polymers.

Mainly, my research focuses on the development of methods of controlling the magnetization behavior of these NPs by fine tuning their morphology and a method for the immobilization and assembly of magnetic NPs on an ideal substrate for potential applications involving high density memory or biotechnological devices requiring superparamagnetic materials or magnetic materials.
